At the beginning of this year, I saw a note about how to sharpen rice and changed the sharpening method, and the rice became delicious at once.

田牧はコシヒカリ系ですね。栽培が楽でそれなりの値段がしますが、それも日本国内でのJAの無駄に高級イメージ売りつけた魚沼産コシヒカリキャンペーンの賜物かと。
コシヒカリとササニシキがタイプの違う2巨頭だった時代に、弱い品種のため手間のかかるはっきりとした味わいのササニシキより丈夫で手間いらずでモチモチ(ベタベタの言い換え・無駄に水分含有率が高いだけ)した食感の農家にとってコスパの高いコシヒカリ系が主流になった結果です。
ササニシキは今や日本国内では高級寿司店くらいでしか流通してません。
逆に言えば日常食的なおにぎりに適したコシヒカリは楽に農家さんは儲けることができますが、コメ一粒一粒の旨味を味わえるササニシキはその手間から農家さんからは敬遠されてもなお、味にこだわりのある高級寿司店では高騰した今でも使い続けられてるのです。
その本来のお米そのものの味わいのある高級ササニシキのDNAを持つニシキがアメリカでは格安に買えるのですから皮肉なものです。
無駄に値段だけ高い田牧を推すサイトもありますがコシヒカリキャンペーンに負けた馬鹿舌としか言いようがありません。
